A suspect has been arrested for the incident.

Tommy Moorehead III, 41, and his two young children, Tommy Jr., 4, and Lynnlee, 6, were killed in a disastrous car accident on Saturday in Texas.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the accident happened when a 2007 Dodge 3500 tried to pass a 2017 Toyota Tacoma in a no-passing zone on FM-3133 and struck a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado head-on. All three of them perished at the scene when the Silverado carrying Tommy and his kids caught fire.

Rocky Patterson, 63, the Dodge’s driver, has been taken into custody and is facing three manslaughter charges. He has a ~$3 million bond and is still in Grayson County Jail.

Brooke Mustard Moorehead, Tommy’s wife, lost her whole family in the collision. To help with funeral expenses and other unforeseen costs, a GoFundMe has been established.

The fundraiser claims that Brooke lost everything in an instant. Tommy was a loving father and husband. Tommy Jr. was just starting out and was always grinning, while Lynnlee was vibrant and inquisitive.

A longtime worker at a nearby restaurant, Brooke is recalled as devoted, kind, and resilient. Now, the community is coming together to help her deal with this unfathomable loss.

As of this writing, the fundraiser has raised more than ~$92,000 of its target of \$150,000.

The local community has been greatly impacted by this tragic incident, and Brooke is receiving an overwhelming amount of support during this difficult time.
